Oprah Winfrey sits down with Earvin “Magic” Johnson on an all-new episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” airing this Sunday, December 1 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
In the episode, Oprah joins basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson at his Los Angeles home to talk about the retired NBA star’s historic career with the L.A. Lakers, his HIV diagnosis that shook the world and the person who helped him get through one of the most challenging times of his life. He also talks about the business empire he has built and how his 17 schools are giving high school drop outs a second chance. Also, Cookie Johnson, Magic’s wife of 22 years, joins the conversation as they discuss their support for their openly gay son E.J. and Magic’s health today.
