A&E’s modern day Western drama Longmire continued to rustle up viewers during its sophomore season debut.
Longmire’s second season premiere on Memorial Day drew 4.3 million viewers, a 5% increase from the show’s 4.1 million viewers last June — an A&E record for a freshman series premiere, according to network officials.
The 10 p.m. premiere episode also drew 1.1 million adults 18-49, which was up 12%, and 1.4 million adults 25-54, which was even with last year’s premiere.
Preceding Longmire was The Glades, which drew 3.3 million viewers in its fourth season premiere — up 6% over its season three debut, said A&E.
