The season three premiere of A&E’s reality series Duck Dynasty Wednesday night drew a network record 8.6 million viewers, said network officials.
The series’ 10 p.m. episode also drew a network record 5 million adults 18-49 and 5 million adults 25-54. A second episode of the series drew 8.5 million viewers with similar numbers within the key demos.
The season three premiere of Duck Dynasty, which follows the Robertson family and their successful business selling duck hunting products, grew by 132% in total viewers, 117% in adults 25-54 and 127% in adults 18-49 versus the season two premiere, according to the network.
