Will Gray, Jr.
Considered one of the industry’s top minds in marketing and strategic planning, Will Gray has worked with major brands for over three decades. Will began his career in 1992 at The Kansas City Star holding positions on the editorial side – Newsroom, Editorial Page and Arts & Entertainment. In 1995, Will moved to the advertising division beginning in real estate and recruitment. He quickly rose through the ranks holding positions in Retail, Automotive and National sales working with top brands – Google, Macy’s, Ford, Toyota, Cadillac, AAA, Amtrak, Frontier, Colorado Tourism, etc. Thereafter, he led successful teams as Major & Key Accounts Manager, Digital Strategic Manager and Agency Accounts Manager. During his tenure, he received high recognition for his leadership earning many awards including the Chairman’s Award 1st Place Big 5 and the coveted Chairman’s Club Award.
Will joined Viamedia in 2017 as a Cross Area Media Manager where he directed divisional cross-media strategies. He was elevated to Divisional Vice President of Cross Media in 2018 overseeing a handful of markets including Kansas City, Omaha, Madison, Denver, Tulsa, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Sacramento.
He is a graduate from University of Missouri – Kansas City and Park University. Will supports many causes including Shawnee Community Center (a free food pantry) and Project Warmth. He resides in Kansas City, Mo. with his wife and three kids. Will enjoys anything outdoors, live music and is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan.
