LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY – 2/13/03 Viamedia announced today an agreement with RCN to represent their advertising sales within the Chicago, IL DMA.
This agreement gives Viamedia an additional 90,000 and increases their sub count to 160,000 within the Chicago DMA.
RCN is the nation’s first, and largest, competitive provider of bundled cable TV, phone and high-speed Internet services. RCN currently has more than 1 million customer connections in the Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., metropolitan markets.
The RCN addition increases Viamedia’s total sub count to 400,000 in 4 of the top DMA’s.
Viamedia currently represents the ad sales for WideOpenWest in Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus and Detroit.
Viamedia provides local, regional and national advertisers the opportunity to market their products or services on cable television networks through agreements with various cable operators in the US.
Viamedia maintains its corporate office in Lexington, Kentucky and field offices in Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus and Detroit.
