LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY 01/23/07– Viamedia, the cable industry’s leading independent cable rep firm, announced today the promotion of four field executives. Roger Weaver (Detroit), John Miller (Washington DC), Joe Slavin (Northern California) and Tim D’Angelo (Columbus) have each received promotions within the organization. 

Roger Weaver, previously VP/ GM Detroit, has been named Regional Vice President for Viamedia. In his new role Weaver will continue to oversee the daily General Management responsibilities of the Detroit market. In addition, he will have oversight of Chicago, Washington DC, Baltimore, Richmond, Norfolk and Fort Wayne. 

John Miller, previously GM Washington DC, has been named VP/ GM of the Washington DC and Baltimore markets. Miller will continue management responsibilities in DC and assume management responsibilities of Baltimore. 

Joe Slavin, previously GM Northern California, is now serving as VP/ GM of California. Slavin will continue in his current role, directly managing the day to activities in San Francisco and Sacramento. He will also assume oversight of the Los Angeles market for Viamedia. 

Tim D’Angelo, previously GM Columbus, is assuming the title of VP/ GM in Columbus. 

These individuals have earned this distinction by their sustained high level of performance for Viamedia, continual achievement of company and market objectives, acceptance of incremental responsibilities for the company and general leadership capabilities demonstrated by their day to day and long-term contributions to our organization.
