HALLMARK CHANNEL AND VIAMEDIA MAKE $4,000 DONATION TO A. DOROTHY HAINES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO SUPPORT BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Hallmark Channel and Viamedia are pleased to announce that they have partnered to award a local educational grant in the amount of $4,000 to A. Dorothy Haines Elementary School located in Augusta, GA.

Earlier this year, Hallmark Channel announced its first-ever back-to-school local ad sales promotion to award $4,000 grants to participating distributors and their advertising partners. Each grant is customizable and can be used toward educational experiences, including scholarships, donations or internal incentives. Funding is decided locally by the participating affiliate and/or advertiser.

The grant will be used to supplement the income of the recent Richmond County budget cuts specifically to fund the elementary school’s CRCT Pre-Test Materials.

Hallmark Channel and Viamedia will present the $4,000 grant to A. Dorothy Haines Elementary School on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 3:30 pm. Senior Director of Hallmark Channel, Rita Caprino, will speak at the presentation along with the principal of A. Dorothy Haines Elementary School, Mrs. Sophia A. Cogle.
