Based in Sullivan, Missouri, Fidelity Communications has a history of success through innovation.
Since 1940, Fidelity has been committed to bringing the latest technology and services to the customers it serves.
Fidelity has made five acquisitions over the last two decades, including three in the last seven years that have grown its subscriber base exponentially. Over the past five years, Fidelity has more than doubled in size and now employs 400 people.
In early 2012, Fidelity acquired 14 cable, phone and Internet systems in four states from Cobridge Communications, adding about 30,000 new individual customer services including phone, cable TV and high-speed Internet.
Fidelity now provides about 115,000 Internet, Cable TV and local phone services in Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. The former Cobridge systems were rebranded as Fidelity in early June of 2012.
After decades as a local and long distance phone company, Fidelity began growing in 1992 when it purchased the Rolla cable TV system. It launched its Sullivan cable system in 1999 and acquired systems in Lebanon, Missouri, in 2006 and Salem, Missouri, in 2007. In 2008, Fidelity added 24,000 individual service customers with its purchase of a cable system in Lawton, Oklahoma, and more than doubled that with the Cobridge acquisition in 2012.
