Post Type:post Viamedia and commZoom Collaborate to Serve Texas Markets | Viamedia

NEW YORK, July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Viamedia, the television industry’s largest independent cable TV ad management company, today announced a new partnership with commZoom®, in which Viamedia will represent commZoom’s TV ad sales throughout the San Antonio and Corpus Christi markets. The latter represents a new designated market area (DMA) for Viamedia.

commZoom is a newly formed San Antonio-based internet, cable TV and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone provider, with business operations in 13 south Texas markets. The company is currently upgrading all of its services and infrastructure, including the introduction of internet delivery via a high speed Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) network infrastructure to local neighborhoods and business districts, with fiber expansion plans in many of the existing markets.

“This is an ideal partnership for commZoom given the flexibility and power of Viamedia’s ad sales solutions,” said commZoom CEO Bob Cohen. “We saw an alliance with Viamedia to sell our advertising spots as a good fit for commZoom and a solid strategic bolt-on for Viamedia. Our south Texas footprint will give additional depth and strength to the advertising solution Viamedia offers in the region. It’s a win for our subscribers and local advertisers across Texas.”

“commZoom is proving itself to be an innovative service provider though its customer-centric initiatives,” said Viamedia CEO Mark Lieberman. “By collaborating with commZoom, Viamedia will be able to serve local advertisers across Texas with the most comprehensive solution to date, helping them to break thru the clutter to have their voices heard.”

The new partnership with commZoom adds to Viamedia’s increasing presence in the Texas area, as Viamedia currently represents Grande Communications and GVTC Communications throughout the San Antonio market.
